Hailing from a neighboring galaxy, known as Indiana, our trombone player Joanne can be found playing low brass with various ensembles in both Illinois and Indiana on a regular basis.

You can find her playing bass trombone with Windiana, a professional wind symphony based in Valparaiso, Indiana or the Calumet Ridge Jazz Ensemble based out of Lake County, Indiana. She can be found at various schools in Illinois assisting with marching and concert bands alike.

You can also find her playing and on the podium directing the Valparaiso Community University Trombone Choir and Community Band. In her free time she can be found playing with The German Band, Inc. a not-for-profit ensemble which raises money for food pantries and charities in Northwest Indiana. They play for beer, but stop for schnapps – Prost!
